| In May 2001 The Suncoast Naturists formally adopted Caspersen Beach Park and since then they have gathered quarterly to conduct clean-up activities. By signing an adoption contract with Sarasota County, and fulfilling our quarterly obligations, we continue to demonstrate our interest in obtaining a legally designated section of that beach park for clothing-optional use. As of this date the County has not granted permission for clothing-optional use, but we are continuing to strive for that goal. Directions:
From I-75, take exit #193, go west on Jacaranda Blvd. to the second traffic light (Venice Ave). Turn Right (west), cross over US 41 Bypass, continue over bridge to the second traffic light (Harbor Drive South). Turn Left (south) on Harbor Drive South. Caspersen Beach is at the end of the island.
